Inspector-general of police Acryl Sani Abdullah said he will issue a directive to prevent police officers and personnel from abusing their powers at will. FMTNews IGP Foreign

The police cannot detain foreigners, or have them remanded, just to confirm whether their Immigration Department-stamped passport or document is genuine or otherwise, says IGP.

He said that this was to prevent a handful of police officers and personnel from abusing their powers at will.

Aw come on. Did the front line police officers really abused their powers or acting on instructions from a senior through chain of commands. Please check. Sometimes instructions can be misinterpreted if not clear.

They even go in shopping complex other than rounding them up near those area especially beginning of the month.
