KUALA LUMPUR: Police have seized RM1.37mil worth of drugs after crippling a distribution ring run by a married couple and another man.
"We arrested two men and a woman aged between 25 and 28."Checks revealed one of the men was married to the woman," he told reporters at the Brickfields police headquarters here on Tuesday (March 2).DCP Zainudin said police seized 38kg of syabu and 457g of heroin from them.
"All three have been remanded to assist with further investigations."We also seized three cars worth about RM68,000, jewellery worth RM20,150 and RM23,684 cash," he said, adding that the ring was connected to another drug ring which was crippled in Penang in November last year.
