NSTnation Commercial property landlords have been urged to consider giving discounts to tenants who are unable to operate their businesses during the Movement Control Order (MCO) period. Covid19 Coronavirus Malaysia MCO MovementControlOrder

The Prime Minister’s Office made the call in view of the impact of the Covid-19 outbreak on small and medium-scale enterprises .

The Unit for the Implementation and Coordination of National Agencies on the Economic Stimulus Package or , established by the Finance Ministry, also tabled its report on the progress and implementation of the Economic Stimulus Packages announced by the government to mitigate the adverse impact of the outbreak on the nation’s economy.In the same statement, the PMO announced the appointment of two more members – one each from Sarawak and Sabah – to the EAC.
