Earlier today, Hilman and a number of other youth leaders called on the party to guarantee their safety following a series of melees at today’s youth wing congress, which saw two factions trading punches. “If don’t want to come, they won’t. But do come. This is our congress and they are delegates. They are welcome to come.”
On the constant infighting in the party, which she had lamented about in her speech when wrapping up the Youth and Wanita congress, Wan Azizah put this down to the party’s “dynamics”.In her speech, Wan Azizah said the party had seen its fair share of infighting since its inception.
