PETALING JAYA: A video clip has emerged showing an operator at klia2’s thermal scanners asleep at the desk, raising fears that many travelers carrying infectious diseases could have slipped past the measures implemented by the health ministry, in the wake of an influenza epidemic and the polio scare in Sabah.

Last week, two new polio cases were detected in Sabah involving an 11-year-old boy from Kinabatangan and another boy, aged 8 years, from Sandakan.
