Sekurang-kurangnya 127 wartawan ditahan di negara itu

BEIJING: Satu laporan baharu dikeluarkan oleh Reporters Without Borders mendedahkan China merupakan negara paling banyak menahan wartawan di dunia.Laporan itu mendakwa China giat menjalankan `kempen penindasan yang tidak pernah berlaku sebelum ini’ di seluruh dunia terhadap kewartawanan.“Sekurang-kurangnya 10 wartawan dan pengulas dalam talian ditahan kerana membuat liputan berita mengenai krisis Covid-19 di Wuhan.

Sebelum ini, China pernah memberi penjelasan terhadap isu penahanan wartawan dengan mendakwa golongan itu mencetuskan masalah. – AGENSI
