Projek tenaga termal Hunutlu adalah projek perdana menghubungkan Inisiatif Belt and Road dengan wawasan Koridor Tengah Turki. FMTNews

Projek loji kuasa Hunutlu yang menggunakan teknologi maju dunia dijangka memberi sumbangan besar kepada ekonomi Turk dan komuniti tempatan.

Projek dengan jumlah pelaburan sebanyak AS$1.7 bilion itu khususnya daripada Syarikat Tenaga Elektrik Shanghai, merupakan satu projek perdana yang menghubungkan Inisiatif Belt and Road yang dicadangkan China dengan wawasan Koridor Tengah Turki. Ia juga dijangka menjana sejumlah sembilan bilion kilowatt jam setiap tahun selepas beroperasi penuh, menyumbang sebanyak tiga peratus daripada semua bekalan elektrik di seluruh Turki.
