Perak PKR chairman Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak said the party’s central leadership has approved the former Umno man’s application on Friday .
“The party’s political bureau has received his application before this and it had to go through the evaluation process. “With his experience, I am confident he can help the Pakatan Harapan government and benefit the state leadership as well,” Farhash said in a statement. Syed Abu Hussin Hafiz quit Umno in June last year following the 14th General Election to become an independent.“I hope the ties between members can now be closer while we wait for the party president to become the eighth Prime Minister in the future,” he said.
