Selangor Fire and Rescue Department deputy director Wan Md Razali Wan Ismail, when contacted Tuesday , confirmed the incident, adding that the forest near the peaks of Broga Hill had caught fire on Monday.
"About 1.5ha of forest was burned and immediate action was taken to prevent it from spreading to the nearby areas,"he said. Semenyih fire station chief Mohamad Darul Azreen Md Desa said that firefighters arrived at the scene at round 4.41pm.
