LONDON (Reuters) - Two workers from a British CCTV firm were jailed on Monday for accessing graphic mortuary footage, later circulated on social media, of the body of the late Argentine soccer player Emiliano Sala, who was killed in a plane crash in January.

Sala, 28, was flying from his previous club Nantes in western France to Wales to join Cardiff City when the Piper Malibu aircraft disappeared over the English Channel.

"Sherry Bray and Christopher Ashford caused immense suffering to Mr Sala’s family and friends with their deeply offensive actions," said Anthony Johns of Britain's Crime Prosecution Service. Police launched an investigation in February after officers became aware that a graphic image of the post-mortem of Sala was appearing on social media.

Yoursay: Will police body cams be ‘on’ when wrongdoing takes place?YOURSAY | ‘The equipment is only as useful and as good as the person using it.’ There is hardly one honest person in the current set of PDRMsia personnel. Their motivation is rank and money. They will do anything to get that rank and money. So you can expect them to switch off the body cams when they are killing their victims. lol ...u never know what PDRM will do with it ...unless and until PDRM themselves observe proper SOP,all Malaysian citizens are in danger ...PDRM are no 1 assholes of Malaysia...they follow UMNO mentality....
