James Hollett from Nothingham, United Kingdom, was stranded at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport after his flight to Myanmar was cancelled on March 17.
He said Hollett told the inspection officer he was stranded in Malaysia while he was on a transit at the airport from Laos to Myanmar on March 17. "On March 22, he ran out of all his money and could no longer stay at there. Since then, he has been living under the Syed Putra Bridge," he said, adding that City Hall officers were carrying out their weekly inspection along the riverside, when they found the man.
