Perdana Menteri Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin berkata, kumpulan pertama yang akan menerima bantuan tambahan RM1,000 ialah golongan B40 seramai 3.7 juta isi rumah.
"Kedua RM500 kepada 3.8 juta kumpulan B40 bujang; ketiga adalah RM600 kepada hampir 1.4 juta isi rumah M40. "Manakala kumpulan keempat adalah 1.7 juta kumpulan M40 yang akan menerima RM300," katanya dalam Perutusan Khas Kita Prihatin, hari ini. Beliau berkata, bayaran BPN 2.0 akan dibuat dalam dua ansuran, iaitu pada hujung Oktober dan keduanya, pada Januari 2021."Tiada permohonan yang perlu dibuat untuk mendapatkan bantuan BPN 2.0. Kerajaan akan menyalurkan bantuan secara terus kepada 10.6 juta penerima yang telah diluluskan di bawah BPN sebelum ini," katanya
