Mohammad Ammar Dhani Mohd Azuan waved to passers-by as the police car made its rounds in a neighbourhood in Bertam with its siren wailing on Friday .
"I want to be a cop and catch bad guys", he told North Seberang Prai OCPD Asst Comm Noorzainy Mohd Noor before they took off in the Honda Civic patrol car. His mother Nur Syazwani Mazlan, 30, from Penaga told reporters that Ammar's interest in the police sparked when he was just over a year old, adding that the family was saddened when Mohammad Ammar's leukemia was discovered when he was two-years-old.
Nur Syazwani added that his condition did not show signs of improvement despite having undergone multiple treatments, saying that the cancer has since spread to his lungs, causing respiratory difficulties. "The doctors have advised that Ammar spends his days at home, and we just hope to fulfil all his wishes," she said.
Miracles can happen young man.
