“Kejayaan mendapatkan lesen di Malaysia membuka pelbagai peluang untuk memenuhi keperluan peralihan pendigitalan di seluruh perniagaan kami. Dari satu sudut, kami kini dapat melibatkan segmen yang kurang atau tidak mendapat perkhidmatan kewangan sebelum ini seperti komuniti Perusahaan Mikro, Kecil dan Sederhana yang gigih bertumbuh, untuk merangsang pemulihan ekonomi negara.
“Lesen ini juga memperkukuhkan pengalaman dan keupayaan Boost untuk meneroka peluang serantau dalam segmen pertumbuhan tinggi ini,” katanya dalam kenyataan. Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Kumpulan Boost, Sheyantha Abeykoon memberitahu, bank digital akan menjadi pemangkin yang meluaskan keterangkuman kewangan, sejajar dengan misi teras kumpulan untuk memperkasakan dan menyokong keperluan kewangan pengguna dan peniaga.
