“Waktu itu penolakan rakyat masih 50-50 belum sampai 35 peratus seperti hari ini, jadi saya percaya peluang di Tanjung Piai, kita boleh menang,” katanya kepada pemberita di lobi Parlimen, hari ini. “Tak banyak, 500 lebih sahaja. Itu pun kerana tiga penjuru, kalau dua penjuru kali ini jadi peluang untuk menang lebih besar,” katanya.
