PETALING JAYA: Bekas ketua pengarang New Straits Times, Ahmad A Talib meninggal dunia hari ini pada usia 69 tahun.
Bekas pengarah eksekutif berita dan operasi editorial Media Prima itu yang menghidap barah hati, meninggal dunia di Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya pada 5.42 petang tadi. Jenazahnya dibawa ke Masjid Al Muqarrobin di Bandar Tasik Selatan untuk solat jenazah dan akan dikebumikan hari ini.Beliau pernah menjadi penolong pengarang Berita Harian, pengarang Kumpulan NST serta pengurus besar Kumpulan dan Komunikasi dan Pemasaran Editorial.
Beliau juga pernah menganggotai Lembaga Pemegang Amanah Yayasan Salam dan Yayasan Kebajikan Anak-anak Yatim Malaysia.
