Beheaded woman laid to rest in Kampung Permatang Muslim cemetery

Sinar Harian reported that the 56-year-old woman was laid to rest at the Kampung Permatang Muslim cemetery in Kuala Selangor at 5.20pm.

Dozens of family members and relatives gathered at the site of the funeral to pay their last respects. On Saturday , villagers of Kampung Baru Pasir Penambang were shocked to learn of the murder that occurred around 5.45pm.The suspect’s sister, who went to the house to check on her mother after she could not be contacted, saw him covered in blood as he fled from the house.The suspect, a 28-year-old unemployed man, was caught with the help of villagers.Police said the suspect beheaded the mother after she refused to give him money to buy drugs.

Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Arjunaidi Mohamed said on Monday that the motive for the murder on was revealed while investigating the suspect.
