KERAJAAN hari ini mengumumkan peningkatan bayaran sagu hati sukarelawan petugas kesihatan yang terlibat dalam proses vaksinasi dan pengurusan Covid-19 kepada RM100 sehari berbanding RM50 sebelum ini, sebagai tanda pengiktirafan terhadap sumbangan mereka. Perdana Menteri Muhyiddin Yassin berkata pembayaran yang bermula bulan ini akan melibatkan 19,000 sukarelawan yang bertugas lebih 12 jam dengan implikasi kewangan tambahan berjumlah RM180 juta, dan ia diberikan kepada semua sukarelawan kesihatan yang bertugas di lapangan.
