Automotive sector expects Budget 2022 push for EV, green mobility ecosystems

The automotive industry is expecting initiatives to boost the local electric vehicle sector and green technology ecosystems to be introduced in Budget 2022. – EPA pic, October 19, 2021.

AUTOMOTIVE players expect the initiatives to strengthen the local electric vehicle industry and green technology ecosystems will be announced in Budget 2022. This is in progression with the national aspiration of low carbon mobility objectives and green mobility agenda, as spelt out in the 12th Malaysian Plan unveiled last month.
