After Qatar, Azmin Ali continued with his trade mission to Austria to explore growth areas for bilateral trade and investment.

According to a press release by MITI today, several Austrian companies have expressed interest to invest in Malaysia.

"As Malaysia is focusing on environment, social and governance issues , the Senior Minister assured Dr Schramböck that Malaysia will facilitate interest by Austrian companies renowned for placing clean energy at the forefront of their products and services," the statement said. Continuing with his schedule in Austria, Azmin had discussions with Stellantis NV, a global car company with manufacturing facilities in 30 countries and more than 300,000 employees.

Azmin also paid a site visit to the headquarters of Austria Technologie & Systemtechnik AG in Loeben.
