Keadaan itu, katanya, juga mewujudkan ketidaktentuan yang telah menyebabkan peralihan dalam rantaian bekalan global dan peningkatan perlindungan.
Menteri itu juga bercakap tentang keperluan untuk menjaga keamanan dan kestabilan di Asia Tenggara, prasyarat penting bagi meningkatkan kemakmuran serantau dan global. “Ketiga-tiga pelopor itu penting untuk memainkan peranan dalam merapatkan hubungan, membina dan mengikat kedua-dua kawasan laut yang memerlukan Malaysia untuk mengusahakan inisiatif dan mengukuhkan kerjasama yang tulen dengan pelbagai negara termasuk AS,” katanya.
