Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has confirmed that he was nominated by Pakatan Harapan leaders to be the candidate for prime minister. Read more here:

According to the PKR president, this was a decision made by the Pakatan presidential council on Tuesday .

“Therefore, the presidential council decided, on Tuesday, that the prime minister candidate is Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. "We will not betray this mandate, ” he told reporters at a press conference held at PKR’s headquarters in Merchant Square on Wednesday .
