PKR president Anwar Ibrahim has said that the issue of approaching Bersatu chairperson Dr Mahathir Mohamad was not discussed during a Pakatan Harapan meeting this evening.
However, he indicated that Harapan's relationship with its former coalition partner Bersatu is still in a state of flux. On Monday, Mahathir had resigned as prime minister after his party, together with rogue MPs from PKR, BN, PAS, Warisan and GPS tried to form a new coalition to replace the Harapan government.
The new coalition had wanted to keep Mahathir as prime minister of the new coalition but Mahathir said he cannot accept working with Umno.
