PETALING JAYA: Police have arrested a man for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol after he rammed into the back of a police car.

Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal said the incident occurred at a movement control order roadblock here, but did not provide further details.

"This makes it two similar incidents in two days and we do not want repetitions or worse, casualties. In the previous case, a 33-year-old man was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol at a roadblock on the Sprint Highway at about 9.15pm on Wednesday .He added that the situation is expected to be the same as when a roadblock was set up on Persiaran Surian, but police are better prepared this time.
