GEORGE TOWN: A businessman and a wireman have claimed trial to six charges each of stealing electricity for bitcoin mining activities.

Ang Ming Kee, 35, and Ung Kwan Meng, 40, pleaded not guilty after the charges were read out to them at three separate Magistrate's Courts here.

Ang and Ung were charged under Subsection 37 of the Electricity Supply Act 1990 which was read together with Section 34 of the Penal Code.
