Prime Minister's Special Envoy to the Middle East, Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, also urged all Muslims to contribute within their means to aid the cause, including by donating money.
Abdul Hadi said this year's Hari Raya Aidilfitri was celebrated in a challenging time as clashes were escalating in Palestine. The #Aid4Palestine secretariat is the coordinator for a joint effort involving more than 40 non-governmental organisations set up to mobilise a mission of taking proactive and immediate action to help the Palestinian struggle.
#Aid4Palestine chairman Muhammad Khalil Abdul Hadi said the aim of the programme was to provide a platform to unite all Muslims, and Malaysians in general, to free Palestine from Israeli attacks.
