Kampung Kemensah Village Community Management Council Zohari Ahmad said unaffected residents living close to the site were told to be on high alert should their properties be affected by soil movement.“The residents are worried and afraid that the soil movement may worsen and affect their homes.

“While most of the affected residents are staying with other family members, some had to stay put at a nearby community hall that acts as a disaster relief centre,” he said. When contacted, an Ampang Jaya Municipal Council spokesperson said the council had yet to receive report of any new development regarding the landslide and would continue to monitor the situation.
