AirAsia boss vows to continue fighting passenger service charge

The AirAsia Group CEO likens the klia2 to a budget hotel and the KLIA to a five-star resort, saying one should not be expected to pay the same money for vastly different quality of service. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, July 19, 2019.

KLIA and klia2 are miles apart in terms of service quality yet they charge the same rate for passenger service, AirAsia Group CEO Tony Fernandes said today as he vowed to “fight on” against the inequality. “It’s like saying Tune hotel a budget hotel should charge the same as the Shangri-La hotel a five star hotel.
