GEORGE TOWN, Jan 16 — AirAsia Group aims to become Asia’s largest food delivery and ride-hailing company, besides just offering flights in the region, following the successful acquisition of local online food delivery platform, Delivereat, recently.

“When AirAsia, I always wondered if we can become the biggest airline, and we did. We are the fourth biggest airline in Asia...We started with only two planes, 200,000 passengers, and now we have grown to 90 million passengers. Fernandes said he is looking forward to expand the app’s full services to Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, and the Philippines in the near future.

He said the group is truly excited about the partnership as it supports the company’s strategy to continue serving the underserved and become the best value delivery company in Asean.

' Now everybody can fries'

Pay back your customers’ money first, don’t divert it to other unrelated businesses

Air to land .. good progress

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 with NO REFUND policy, that's super super fool app 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪

airasia you can be largest on anything but just pay your debts. Dont cheat & drag. Not only you delay payments to vendor but also to paying passengers that you cancelled flights. BNM_official MOFmalaysia MY_Airports MCMC_RASMI

Duit cancel booking time covid tknk return ditukarnya pulak dgn point waknatt

So what happened to wanting to build a world-class airline that would connect M'sia to the world & make KLIA a true regional air hub capable of competing with S'pore Changi Airport on an equal footing? Gone & forgotten? MY_Airports weekasiongmp

Giving consumers option to choose.Providing a healthy competition.

Air Asia food app is horrible. Maybe he has some better idea to improve it.

Wah good 👍🏻 more competition in food delivery business, hopefully prices will maintain at reasonable rate..lately i noticed the delivery fee for grab has increased and many of the prices are no longer the same as in-store

The more the merrier, and more choices for us also. Foodpanda & grab food delivery sometimes very limited options.

What a joke

Food is a good business, even airlines go for it 😀😅🛩✈

So when he came out with this announcement, nak naikkan market share balik ke tew?

But stock price is the smallest. Now he wants to get into the Grab business.

What? Anyone can eat? Anyone can ride?

Amboii beli share, duit tiket aku belum bayar🥲

Reducing evil doctor population should be the highest priority

Good to see a strong contender & alternative to Grab Cars for e-hailing and Grab Food/Foodpanda for food delivery. Healthy competition creates innovation & cheaper service rather than monopoly like DNB for 5G network in Msia.

Real capitalist

Deliver eat ni yg banyak kat uk tu ke?

Bukan nak kata apa la, sometimes grab also f up juga. Airasia ehailing banyak yang kata bagus. Even these days riders airasia lagi banyak kot

Havent tried their food delivery yet but the airasia ride was a very good experience imo, and at least cheaper than grab ride

imagine 1001 excuses avoiding refunds in case of fuckups.
