KUALA LUMPUR: Seorang ahli Parlimen Barisan Nasional hari ini bertanya kepada Menteri Kewangan Tengku Zafrul Aziz adakah tindakan akan diambil terhadap bekas menteri Lim Guan Eng berhubung dakwaannya bahawa wang hasil kutipan GST berjumlah RM19.4 bilion “dirompak” oleh kerajaan sebelum ini.
Merujuk kepada laporan Jawatankuasa Kira-kira Wang Negara pada Julai 2019 yang menyebut tiada wang GST dirompak, Shahar berkata, wang tersebut sebaliknya digunakan untuk perbelanjaan pembangunan negara. Beliau menambah bahawa kerajaan tidak lagi memegang wang itu, sekali gus membolehkan syarikat mempunyai aliran tunai untuk menjalankan perniagaan.
