After Nur Sajat’s case, 25 civil society organisations warn of growing religious restrictions in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 24 — Twenty-five civil society organisations have warned of growing restrictions on freedom of religion in Malaysia following cosmetic entrepreneur Nur Sajat’s arrest by authorities in Thailand.

“However, PDRM reported that she is wanted for Section 9 instead of Section 10 of the Syariah Criminal Offences . The CSOs also highlighted PAS’ Bachok MP, Nik Mohamad Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz, who called for more state-sponsored rehabilitation programmes for LGBT persons in Parliament on September 21.

What has sajat case has to do with religion restrictions don't rojak everything together

Sickening news this boy

Malaysia got misleaded

Good news..

A waste of resources...

Playin victim card now. Wtf

The two CSO they mentioned in the article is women CSO... Didn't they know sajat is actually a guy 🤣

Sajat himself has to respect the law.. not playing victim all the time..

I am wondering...isn't freedom of religion and 'rights to our body' something that is our own? Don't we have the freedom to decide for ourselves? We have brains and we can educate ourselves and thus think!!!

Malaysia = Afghanistan?

To many God wannabe.

What are those 25 society organizations? Are they civil or devil society? So irresponsible!!!!!

those islamic extremist can consider migrate back to Afghanistan. Go back to their own country, pendatang!
