PETALING JAYA: Individuals who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 will enjoy more benefits, says Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

PUTRAJAYA: Whatever the result of your Covid-19 self-test – be it positive, negative or even invalid – the authorities must be notified via the MySejahtera app, the Health Minister has reminded Malaysians.“Whether it is positive, negative or invalid, those who do the test must be responsible.“Please do not falsify your results. We must protect others from being infected,” he said at the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme media briefing yesterday.

Those with negative results but exhibit symptoms should go to a clinic for further evaluation, while those with invalid results must take the test again, he added. He said self-test kits were made available in the market since Wednesday and could also be used for enforcement purposes, such as screenings at the country’s international entry points as well as for interstate travel.

Three Covid-19 self-test kits have been approved by the ministry via the Medical Devices Authority : the Salixium Covid-19 rapid antigen test kit produced by Reszon Diagnostics International Sdn Bhd; the Gmate Covid-19 Ag saliva test kit for home use by Citymedic Sdn Bhd; and the Beright Covid-19 antigen rapid test device by Medinics Sdn Bhd.
