kualalumpur covid19 JABATAN Imigresen akan menggerakkan pegawai dari ibu pejabat dan negeri untuk mengambil alih kawalan serta pengurusan Depot Tahanan Imigresen Bukit Jalil, , berikutan kemunculan kluster baharu wabak Covid-19 di kawasan itu.

Ketua Pengarahnya, Datuk Khairul Dzaimee Daud berkata, pengurusan depot tahanan itu kini dibantu pegawai imigresen Kuala Lumpur dan Jabatan Sukarelawan Malaysia akan memberi bantuan kawalan.

"Setakat ini, keputusan saringan Covid-19 terhadap 98 pegawai bertugas di Bukit Jalil didapati negatif dan semua mereka akan terus dikuarantin selama 14 hari. Khairul Dzaimee, berkata bagi tahanan yang positif Covid-19, mereka akan ditempatkan di pusat kuarantin di Taman Ekspo Pertanian Malaysia Serdang .

Ismail Sabri yang juga Menteri Pertahanan berkata, ini akan membabitkan 1,200 tahanan di Bukit Jalil dan 1,600 tahanan di Semenyih.
