Pengarah Jabatan Kesihatan Melaka, Dr Ismail Ali berkata, 8 anggota perubatan itu kini menerima rawatan di hospital berkenaan, manakala kontak rapat mereka sudah disaring dan sedang menjalani kuarantin di rumah masing-masing, bukannya di hospital. Beliau berkata, Hospital Melaka merupakan hospital rujukan kes Covid-19 di Melaka, dan urusan di semua unit hospital berkenaan perlu melalui janji temu serta orang ramai diingatkan sentiasa mematuhi SOP ketika berurusan di sana.
