KUALA LUMPUR: Police today obtained remand orders for six individuals including former Santubong PKR Youth leader Haziq Aziz, after they were arrested last night in connection with an investigation into a series of gay sex videos targeted at Economic Affairs Minister Mohamed Azmin Ali.
FMT has learnt that they are being investigated under the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 for the distribution of pornographic materials. All of them were brought to the Magistrate’s Court in Jalan Duta here and will spend the next six days in police custody.When contacted, a Bukit Aman officer close to the investigation declined to elaborate.
