4 Parliament select committee members object to postponed meeting on Azam Baki

Four opposition lawmakers from the nine-member Parliament Special Select Committee on Agencies under the Prime Minister’s Department have said that they disagreed with Azam Baki’s reasons for why the meeting on Wednesday has to be postponed. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, January 17, 2022.

FOUR opposition lawmakers have lodged their protests against the postponement of the Parliament Special Select Committee on Agencies under the Prime Minister’s Department meeting that was scheduled to be held on Wednesday. Four MPs from the nine-person committee that was to have discussed the share ownership controversy of anti-graft official Azam Baki at the meeting, said that they disagreed with PSSC chairman Abdul Latiff Abdul Rahman’s unilateral decision to postpone the meeting indefinitely.
