POLICE have arrested 157 people, including 30 drug dealers, and seized various types of drugs worth RM60,600 in a three-day operation in Malacca beginning January 21.
Malacca Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department head Zulkiflee Rashid said 17 of the drug dealers were detained for alleged drug trafficking under section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 while the rest, under section 3 of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1985.
