More than 3,000 bricks suspected to be cocaine are believed to have been seized in Shah Alam.
PETALING JAYA: Anti-narcotics officers are believed to have made a huge drugs bust of 3.2 tonnes of cocaine and 11 sacks believed to contain ketamine according to a report circulating on social media. The report could not be immediately verified. Police were unable to confirm details of the raids and said further information would be forthcoming later in the week.
Four Malaysian men and 9 foreigners were believed to have been arrested in two raids in Shah Alam early on Sunday, in a joint operation between the Customs and federal Narcotics CID. The first raid netted a haul of 11 sacks weighing 500kg containing white powder believed to be ketamine. Information from the raid led officers to a house where officers found more than 3,000 bricks, weighing a total of 3.2 tonnes, of a white substance believed to be cocaine.FMT is awaiting an official response from federal police headquarters.
