Dr Wee, S'pore Foreign Minister discuss transport issues at breakfast meet

PETALING JAYA: The aviation industry's recovery following the Covid-19 pandemic was among the issues discussed by Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong (pic) and Singapore Foreign Minister Dr Vivian Balakarishnan at a breakfast meeting Thursday (May 19).

The Transport Minister said he and Vivian had also discussed several other transport-related issues during their meeting.

"I had a breakfast meeting with Dr Vivian, where we also compared notes on the RTS Link from Johor Bahru to Woodlands, the Singapore-Kuala Lumpur HSR and rail connectivity towards Thailand, Laos and China," he said in a Facebook post Thursday.

"It was a fruitful one hour session and we will hold more talks to further contribute to strengthening the bilateral relationship between Malaysia and Singapore," added the MCA president.
