25 premises ordered to close for failing to follow SOP, says Ismail Sabri

The closure orders were issued from the 68,921 checks carried out on Sunday by the task force monitoring SOP compliance led by the police.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the checks carried out include 1,556 factories, 11,269 business premises, 416 construction sites and 145 workers hostels. “Authorities have ordered immediate closure after checks found that the premises failed to follow SOP. “The actions come after the government had decided to increase enforcement on factories and business premises following reports of violations of orders,” he said on Wednesday .
