Malaysia reports 4,262 new Covid-19 cases

MALAYSIA reported 4,262 new Covid-19 cases today, a slight decrease from yesterday’s 4,298, said health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

This takes the total number of infections in the country to 2,663,034.

Breakdown of cases by state and territory will be published on the CovidNow website after midnight.

Hospitalisations for Covid-19 dipped to 940 yesterday.

The hospital bed utilisation rate stood at 62.3%; coronavirus patients accounted for 32.3% of usage. – December 6, 2021.
