Daily Covid shots continue high streak

MORE than 300,000 people were vaccinated in a day for the sixth straight day, said Dr Adham Baba. 

The health minister said 324,745 shots were dispensed yesterday, 213,971 of which were the first dose and 110,774 the second dose.

This continues the trend of daily vaccinations above the 300,000 mark in the last six days. The national immunisation campaign saw 337,478 doses administered on July 9, 376,909 (July 8), 375,842 (July 7), 340,043 (July 6) and 313,761 (July 5).

Selangor has the most first dose recipients at 1.44 million while Sarawak leads in full vaccination for its residents with 520,592.  – July 11, 2021.
