PUTRAJAYA: Pusat Pemberian Vaksin di Ideal Convention Centre di Seksyen 15, Shah Alam, Selangor, ditutup hari ini susulan 204 petugasnya itu didapati positif Covid-19.
Menurut Khairy, langkah itu julung kali diambil sejak PPV yang pertama dilancarkan Perdana Menteri, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin di Pejabat Kesihatan Daerah Putrajaya pada 23 Februari. “Saya juga telah mengarahkan supaya ujian saringan secara beramai-ramai ke atas semua petugas dibuat sebaik sahaja kami dapat laporan mengenai dua sukarelawan disahkan positif.
Beliau berpendapat, pendedahan kemungkinan ada berlaku pada tempoh berkenaan dan mereka yang datang ke situ jika ada gejala Covid-19, diminta segera membuat ujian saringan. Sebagai langkah pencegahan awal katanya, semua petugas sebelum ini telah diasingkan dan ditukar dengan pasukan baharu agar potensi jangkitan wabak berkenaan dapat dikurangkan.
