Rozita Radzali, 33, said her sixth child Maya Alisha Mohd Hasrol suffers from a hole in the heart and requires two surgeries totalling up to nearly RM80,000."Maya Alisha is a premature baby. Born at six months on Jan 18 last year, she only weighed 1.5kg.
Doctors informed her and her husband immediately of Maya's heart condition, but due to her size, she could not undergo surgery."The first surgery at the National Heart Institute has been scheduled for the middle of this month and estimated to cost around RM25,000," she said, while the second round would cost anything between RM40,000 and RM60,000.
She also posted on Facebook seeking assistance from the public to fund Maya's surgery and had received about RM1,000.
