PETALING JAYA: Sebanyak 16,133 sukarelawan bukan kesihatan terlibat dalam pengoperasian Pusat Pemberian Vaksin di seluruh negara.
Menteri Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi merangkap Menteri Penyelaras Program Imunisasi Covid-19 Kebangsaan , Khairy Jamaluddin berkata, daripada jumlah tersebut, seramai 1,373 orang terdiri daripada penjawat awam; Sukarelawan Bukan Kesihatan , Angkatan Pertahanan Awam , Rela dan Angkatan Tentera Malaysia serta Polis Diraja Malaysia .
Selain itu katanya, terdapat 2,313 PPV pelbagai saiz dan kapasiti sedang beroperasi di seluruh negara. “PPV Mega Tier 1 ada 17, PPV Mega Tier 2 , PPV Awam Bukan Kesihatan , PPV Institusi Pengajian Tinggi , PPV Pandu Lalu , PPV Klinik Kesihatan , PPV ‘Special’ , PPV Klinik Pakar Swasta , PPV Hospital Swasta , PPV Ambulatori dan PPV Industri sebanyak 60.
“Ini tidak termasuk inisiatif unit vaksinasi bergerak dan program jangkau luar komuniti,” katanya pada sesi penerangan mengenai PICK di Sidang Khas Dewan Rakyat, hari ini. – UTUSAN ONLINE
