SUNGAI PETANI: Polis menahan 13 individu termasuk tiga remaja bawah umur dipercayai terlibat dalam aktiviti perjudian dalam talian di sebuah rumah teres di sini pada 25 November lalu.
Timbalan Ketua Polis Kedah, Datuk Mohd. Roze Shaari berkata, mereka ditahan ketika sedang leka menjalankan aktiviti perjudian jenis dadu secara langsung. Menurutnya, semua transaksi wang pertaruhan dijalankan secara perbankan dalam talian dan jumlah pertaruhan dianggarkan antara RM10,000 hingga RM15,000 sehari.
