Hairul berkata, banyak perkakas rumahnya yang sudah dicuci terpaksa dibuang selepas lumpur menenggelamkan tilam, perabot dan alat elektrik. “Saya dan keluarga segera naik ke tingkat dua kediaman sebaik air melimpah memasuki rumah. Kejadian banjir ini adalah yang terburuk pernah berlaku sejak 2007,” katanya yang menetap di kampung itu hampir 35 tahun.
“Jika hujan berterusan lebih tiga jam di Sungai Buloh, kawasan rendah di kampung ini mula dinaiki air secara berperingkat-peringkat,” katanya.
