BANGKOK: Pihak Berkuasa Pelancongan Thailand merekodkan kemasukan kira-kira 30,538 pelancong dalam tempoh 10 hari pertama selepas negara ini membuka sempadan kepada pelancong antarabangsa.
Jumlah itu melibatkan kemasukan pelancong dalam dan luar negara menerusi beberapa lapangan terbang antarabangsa Thailand iaitu di Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket dan Koh Samui.Sebagai perbandingan, kira-kira 108,000 pelancong tiba di negara ini semasa sebelum pandemik.Daripada jumlah itu, 63 peratus sudah diluluskan, manakala 24 peratus lagi menerima kelulusan secara automatik.
Sementara itu, pelancong dari Amerika Syarikat merekodkan jumlah kemasukan paling tinggi ke Thailand iaitu dengan 3,864 orang, diikuti Jerman , United Kingdom dan Jepun .
