1,720 kes positif Covid-19 adalah kluster tabligh Seri Petaling

Data itu berkaitan kluster terbesar jangkitan Covid-19 di negara ini yang melibatkan himpunan tabligh tiga hari dua malam di Masjid Seri Petaling pada 27 Februari sehingga 3 Mac.

Jumlah kes positif kluster itu adalah hampir 40% daripada keseluruhan kes sah di Malaysia setakat ini. Kes indeks kluser tabligh direkodkan sebanyak 766 kes, daripada jumlah itu, 715 kes adalah kes generasi pertama. Manakala kes generasi kedua adalah 206, kes generasi ketiga , kes generasi keempat dan untuk generasi kelima tujuh kes dilaporkan.

Dianggarkan hampir 16,000 orang menghadiri himpunan tabligh itu melibatkan peserta dalam dan luar negara.Bagaimanapun, kes jangkitan baharu hanya 118 kes, berbanding 222 kes dilaporkan pulih.Kes baharu hari ini adalah yang kedua terendah dilaporkan sejak perintah kawalan pergerakan dikuatkuasa pada 18 Mac.
