Sabah and Kelantan top the list of Raya clusters, and Melaka has most travel clusters.
The number is more than double the figure reported three days ago when Noor Hisham said 12 clusters linked to Raya celebrations had been detected at the time. He said 1,109 cases have been reported from the Raya clusters, with 4,047 people screened. This means these clusters have a positive rate of 25.1%.Sabah recorded seven clusters linked to Raya celebrations, followed by Kelantan with five and two each in Johor, Melaka, Pahang, Selangor and Labuan.
“Although the government had said that visits and gatherings were not allowed, many ignored these warnings, leading to new Covid-19 clusters and even causing death,” he said.
